Ask and It Shall Be Given

Have you ever been in the position of questioning God as to why your prayers have not been answered? According to Luke 11:9, all we need to do is ask and it shall be given. If you read the entire scripture, this is just the first step. I just read a daily meditation, which was very enlightening, and I was lead by the Holy Spirit to share it.

The key is don’t stop at the first step of praying, proceed to the next step in the scripture “seek and ye shall find.” Use your resources (blessings) to go look for what you are praying for. Then “knock and the door will be opened to you.” Be persistent; keep knocking until the door of opportunity opens up to you. According to the above-mentioned meditation, this is the meaning of active prayer.
